Here is a review of my Anna Sui V2850 Vogue pattern. I guess this is an OOP pattern.
Fabric Used: For the top I used 100% polyester fabric, I got for $1.99 at fabricland store.
Pattern Sizing: I cut out Size 16.
Pattern Alterations or any design changes you made: I did a FBA , I raised the neck by 1" to keep the girls perfectly where they belong, and I lengthened the lower portion by 4 ", because I didn't like the shorter look of it on the model. Also, I wanted the inside to look neat and professional , I used french seam throughout, no serging at all, and I truly love the outcome.
Were the instructions easy to follow? The instructions were very easy to follow. I never knew I could make Vogue pattern, I thought they are too complicated with lots of pattern pieces, but I was amazed how easy the instructions were.

Conclusion: Glad I tried it out, my top is so neat inside and out, the simplicity of this pattern will make me recommend it to beginners like me and others who might want to try out simple Vogue pattern.

ReplyDeleteVogue patterns are my favorites. I have this one but it intimidates me a bit. Did you notice it was rated average, not easy. Congratulations om sewing a beautiful blouse from your first Vogue pattern!
