Less than 2 hours later I have this lovely top.....The fabric has some beautiful paisley designs, it's so soft and smooth, I just love the feel of it. A great wardrobe builder.

Simplicity 2756...A little number
Made this little number with just a meter of fabric using simplicity 2756. I got the lovely silk at the liquidation corner in Fabricland, a label on one end of the fabric says "silk" the other end says unknown content, but I am sure it's some type of silk and this fabric frayed a lot, thanks to fray-check. With just 1 meter for this pattern, I couldn't even cut the sleeve on bias as the pattern called for, I am so glad everything fits perfectly. Made little alterations to the pattern; lengthened the bodice by 1.5", finished the arm hole and neck casing with bias strip.
