Thank you..............Simplicity 3775

Thank you all for all the anniversary wishes and prayers..... I really appreciate them.......

Yes, I made the PR 2007 most popular simplicity pattern. This has been in my stash for a very long time, I was  actually thinking of making something else for dinner when this pattern caught my eye, I looked through my stash of fabric and saw a matte jersey I got last year from Walmart, and viola a dress was made....

Fabric: Matte Jersey from Walmart........

Pattern Description: Misses's Knit Dress in two lengths with bodice variations

Pattern Sizing: I cut 14 and graded up to 16 from waist down

Did it look like the photo/drawing on the pattern envelope once you were done sewing with it?:Yes, it does

Were the instructions easy to follow: Yes, very easy

Pattern Alterations or any design changes you made: Couple, but easy
(1)I did 1/4" FBA
(2)I raised the neck by 0.5" just for modesty
(3)I removed 1.5" from each side of the front twist so that it could lie flat at the midrib
(4)I interfaced the neck and the sleeve facing
(5)I shorterned the front pieces by 0.5"

What did you particularly like or dislike about the pattern? I like everything, nothing to dislike, even with the alterations I did it was pretty simple and fast to sew, I didn't spend much time at all

Would you recommend it to others? Why not....lol...easy and flattering .....

Conclusion: No wonder it became the most popular pattern....very simple and easy to sew, I truly love my version, I might make other versions someday......

Have a lovely week folks
Enjoy!!!!

  6. Pretty dress and I remember that pattern. AFter Robin from Yarn Crawl made it a few times, I went on the hunt for it, but each time it was sold out. Finally got my hands on the pattern and have yet to sew it....lol
