Oooooooooh one of my most valuable gizmos died on me recently and sewing has never been the same. I got this boiler iron Shark Euro-pro exactly 2 years ago for $39.99 on ebay and it has taken my sewing into a different level to the extent that I do more pressing than sewing, I just love how it glides smoothly on any thickness of fabric . Once the boiler is filled up with water I leave it on for the rest of the sewing period. Not until recently that it won't just come on and my not-so-handy hubby said it was just the switch that needed to be replaced and for the past 2 weeks it has been "don't worry I will fix it". To be honest, it has been so frustrating using the small T-fal iron....and my sewing has been so dragging...............
Still waiting for my technician to buy a new switch...lol
So, to relegate my frustration....lol ( an excuse to buy new gizmo), I placed an order for a new gravity feed iron...wink... and I am waiting impatietly for it to come home.......
I have cut some patterns but I have not been sewing...Do you friends feel the same way when something happens to your hobby gizmo or is it just me?
Till then.......Enjoy !!!!!!

Have a great week end.
You are not alone! My sewjo takes vacation from time to time for various reasons - gizmo failure included. =)
